Where ButtahJam™ began.

Before ButtahJam was a formula, the ingredients were already familiar. Coconut oil. Cocoa butter. Castor oil. Aloe. Guava. Sugarcane. Things that belonged to kitchens, dressers, family memory, and Caribbean life long before they appeared in a beauty trend report.

ButtahJam grew from a Caribbean-American point of view shaped between Caribbean memory and Brooklyn life — a way of seeing beauty where care, texture, culture, and the everyday could sit in the same room.

Lips became the focus because they are small, expressive, always visible, and too often treated like the last step instead of part of the look.

So the house was built around three textures with three jobs: reset, melt, finish. The fruit can hold the memory. The formula still has to do the work.
